The XENA ambassadors have come through recommendations and affiliations and we believe are worth having on your radar to help you through pregnancy and postpartum.

Pregnancy exercise programme - Foundation - Week 3-4

Stretch pregnancy

The next stage of your foundation pregnancy exercise programme. To get the benefits of exercise you need to be working out consistently and to get started you need to work little and often. 

The program is designed to take you through your pregnancy. It is targeted at someone who has not done much exercise or who has mild pelvic girdle pain. 

It is advised that you do 150 minutes of exercise per week so we have therefore created a program with a variety of exercise modalities to keep you interested and active. This is your third and fourth week. Repeat the programme over two weeks. Remember to enjoy some rest days, which are when you can watch your information videos and or do some breath work. 

This programme with help you build strength and maintain a healthy, mobile, pain free body in pregnancy. If you are still stugglng with pain I would highly recommend seeking support from a physio via your local NHS or contact a physio on our database. Remember to work at your pace and with what feels good.

Pregnancy Exercise Program - Advanced - Week 1-2

The program is designed to take you through your pregnancy. It is targeted at someone who is a regular exerciser and who is in no pain. 

It is advised that you do 150 minutes of exercise per week so we have therefore created a program with a variety of exercise modalities to keep you interested and active. You start with two weeks of the same program, interlinked with some rest days, which are when you can watch your information videos and or do some breath work. 

This program with help you build strength and maintain a healthy, mobile, pain free body in pregnancy. If you find anything a bit challenging for you why not check out the intermediate or foundation program. Remember to work at your pace and with what feels good.
