What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a powerful tool for personal growth and development. It is a collaborative process between a coach and client, that helps the client identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and create a plan for achieving success and true fulfilment. Life coaching is not therapy, but rather focuses on the present and future rather than the past. It is a positive, forward thinking approach to personal growth and development.
What to expect when working with Sophie?
Sophie's approach to coaching is based on the co-active model, which emphasis collaboration and personal transformation. Using tools such as embodiment, visualisation, addressing saboteurs, asking powerful questions and holding accountability.
Sophie believes that her role as a coach is to facilitate her clients' growth and transformation, rather than providing answers or solutions.
“I don’t transform my clients, I Evoke their transformation. It’s a commitment. The magic happens where there is a shift in consciousness and you step into your potential. As a coach I hold the environment and space for my clients, through my belief and love for their transformation”
She helps her clients tap into their own inner wisdom and intuition to find the answers that are right for them.
Sophie's coaching process involves several key steps:
Clarity on Goals & Core Values: The first step in Sophie's coaching process is to explore and identify her client's core values, strengths and passions along with gaining a clear understanding of the clients desired outcome from coaching. Once connected to whats important you can focus your energy and prioritise these needs and bring awareness to how much they are being honoured.
Coaching: Once the client's goals have been clarified, the coaching takes a deep dive into what’s showing up for the client in the present moment. Often, the biggest obstacles to achieving our goals are internal, such as limiting beliefs or negative self-talk. Using tools such as embodiment, visualisation, addressing saboteurs, asking powerful questions Sophie can help you identify and overcome these obstacles, so you can move forward towards your goals with confidence. Building awareness around what’s important about achieving those goals.
Deepen the learning Forward the Action: The next step is to take action towards achieving the client's goals. Sophie provides support and accountability to help her clients stay on track and overcome any obstacles that may arise.
Reflection and Evaluation: Finally, Sophie encourages her clients to reflect on their progress and evaluate their achievements. This helps clients to build self-awareness and identify areas for further growth and development.
Empowering individuals to live their best life and connect back with their essence and aliveness. “Unlock who you are in your core, address those limiting beliefs, and honour what’s truly important to you.”
If you have been feeling stuck, unbalanced or overwhelmed with uncertainly then here are a couple of tips which might help you shift perspective and feel inspired again.
*Set yourself a small challenge. Every morning for 1 week, Before looking at your phone, social media or answering any work emails spend 20mins meditating or breathing. Connecting back to yourself and centring. Then ask yourself. What would make today great? What am I thankful for? (There are 100’s of apps to help with this I personally use @Breathpod for my daily meditation/breathwork practise.
*3 questions to ask yourself What matters most to me? What am I truly longing for? What’s important about that?
*Get outside into nature. One of the most powerful resources we have is all around us and free. Spend some time in nature. Leave your phone behind and just observe the beauty that surrounds us. * Visioning! Take a journal and start writing or if your more visual get a mood board and start getting creative. Visioning is one of the most powerful ways to get you connected to your deepest desires. Don’t focus on any of the obstacles just allowYourself to dream and create a vision for how you want your life to look 5yrs from now.
